ZARA Tanzania Charity is a registered non-governmental organization in the United Republic of Tanzania, founded in 2009 by Ms. Zainab Ansell, Founder and Director of Zara Tanzania Adventures. The organization operates under Certificate No. 00NGO/00003212.
ZARA Tanzania Charity was established to help extend the benefits of tourism to communities across Tanzania by supporting practical initiatives that address local needs and create long-term opportunities.

Ms. Zainab Ansell
ZARA Tanzania Charity was established in 2009 by Zainab Ansell, founder of Zara Tanzania Adventures, with a simple belief: tourism can create opportunities that transform lives.
What began as giving back to local communities has grown into a trusted charity that partners with donors, volunteers, and organizations worldwide to support children, women, and underserved communities throughout Tanzania.
Today, our work continues to create sustainable solutions that improve lives for generations to come.

To support marginalized groups in society such as orphans, women and underprivileged people by providing them basic needs such as food, shelter, clothes and education. The organization also supports porters and guides who help tourists climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru.
Mission
Our goal is to ensure a positive outcome of tourism by benefiting and uplifting the host community.
We aim to support and empower disadvantaged and underprivileged groups within the community, including women, orphans, and those in need, by providing essential needs such as shelter, education, and more.
