ZARA Tanzania Charity was founded in 2009 by Zainab Ansell, Founder and Director of Zara Tanzania Adventures, with a simple yet powerful belief: tourism should create opportunities that extend beyond travel.
Through years of welcoming visitors to Tanzania, Zainab witnessed both the country’s incredible beauty and the everyday challenges faced by many communities. Inspired to make a lasting difference, she established ZARA Tanzania Charity to connect travelers, partners, and supporters with projects that improve lives through education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and sustainable community development.
Today, her vision continues to inspire a global community committed to creating lasting impact across Tanzania.
